Basic Features of Two Types Self-autogenous Grinding

Wet autogenous mill, Also known as the waterfall drop since the mill. its main structural characteristics are the end cap conical, Simplified middle liner micro recessed so that can contribute the material to the simplified center, and then avoid the grinding material producing particle size deflect and effecting the grinding efficiency, install a set of triangular cross-section of the waveform liner at the side light and hollow journal phase . Wet fine grinding’s production is very low,which can not play its effectiveness, so it is often used in conjunction with ball mill,  the mill products was delivered into into the ball mill and then receive the fine grounding. Thing in common: large feeding size, large crushing ratio which up to 100-150; simplifying the crushing process to save equipment, save infrastructure investment, and production management fees low. The advantages of dry-type mill is the production capacity is higher than wet grinding , does not require hydraulic transport, easy to freeze dry areas . The dry-type autogenous wears lighter than the wet mill liner. Dry-type mill weaknesses are: dry the ore which contain high proportion of mud and water (not more than 4% to 5%), therefore,in the south part of the country,we should not use the dry-type self-grinding. In addition, dry mill relays on airflow transport, wind classification, so the system wear, dust and power consumption issues, especially the powder dust problem are difficult to solve, dry-type self-grinding was basically disabled to use. The advantages of wet autogenous grinding are:except a small number of hard ore, the vast majority of metal ores, especially in the high density of iron ore, are suitable for  wet autogenous grinding. Wet autogenous grinding energy consumption is also less than a thousand self grinding, whose grading system and ancillary facilities are relatively simple. Wet autogenous grinding: generate dust pollution to environment, the investment is also lower than the dry-type self-grinding. The disadvantage of wet autogenous grinding are: lower production capacity, and the liner consume more, for the harder ore,we need to consider measures to eliminate the hard grind particle accumulation. The wet grinding has been widely used nowadays.
